This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are artists, makers, and engineers. They are learning about the Design Thinking process and what it means to be a maker. These slime kits will help cultivate my students' genius and give them the opportunity to make slime. The moon lamp will help inspire them to be creative. The slime they make will also help them to focus in class. Being a maker and advocating for yourself are two of the skills I want all my students to have when they leave my class and this would help them greatly with both of those skills.
