Help me give my students the educational and fun experience of making slime.

My Students
I am an AIS teacher located in New York City. I teach eager kindergarten, first, second, and third-grade children who are struggling readers and writers. My students are devoted to learning, but need a different approach toward their education. They need small group instruction that uses many types of manipulatives.
When my children are successful, the look of wonder in their eyes is a sight to behold.
It is truly what makes being a teacher the best job in the world.
My Project
We are science crazy in my class. We plan on doing at least one experiment every two weeks. When I asked for suggestions, as a unit the class responded that they want to make SLIME! The amazing part is I agreed to this experiment. (It really is messy)
The best part of teaching is when you know the entire class is completely absorbed in the lesson.
Making slime is one of those times when not only do you have your classes attention, but pretty much anybody who walks down the hallway gets drawn into the room.
A class size Slime kit would be the perfect thing to use during a cold February day. All the materials are in this kit, plus there are lesson plans attached. The bonus for my children is there are a lot of lessons to be learned about Slime and its properties.
