My Project
The SP350 Drone with Remote Controller will revolutionize our students' learning experiences particularly for our predominantly Native American (Navajo) student body by offering hands-on engagement with basic drone technology. Through piloting drones, students will develop critical STEM skills such as problem-solving, spatial awareness, and coding principles, bridging theoretical concepts with practical application. This immersive experience will deepen their understanding of aerodynamics, physics, and engineering principles while providing a culturally relevant and inclusive learning opportunity.
Our goal for this project is to inspire a passion for STEM fields and cultivate a mindset of curiosity and innovation among our Navajo students.
By providing access to drones, we aim to spark excitement and creativity, encouraging students to explore new possibilities and pursue STEM-related careers. Beyond technical skills, we also aim to promote teamwork, communication, and perseverance as students collaborate on drone missions and overcome challenges together, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment in their cultural heritage and academic achievements.

Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate a remarkable eagerness to learn and a determination to succeed. Our students come from diverse communities each bringing unique perspectives and talents to our classroom. By harnessing their individual strengths and interests, we strive to create a culturally responsive learning environment that celebrates diversity and empowers every student to reach their full potential in STEM and beyond.
