My Project
I absolutely love getting to work with some of the greatest minds in my school. My students are truly exceptional! They need some support in unique areas to help them be all that they can be. In order to be success with this, they need to be able to generalize the things that they learn in speech and language therapy to their class, home, recess, and everywhere else they go. These tools will help them to better understand how to communicate with their peers and how to understand the feelings of those around them as well.
While students who are neurodivergent are very compassionate and empathetic, they often need support learning how to appropriately interact and interpret social situations.
These resources would help me to have the right tools to teach and assess their ability to do just that. Teachers Pay Teachers has so many amazing ways to support students as they learn social skills and how to meet the needs of others. Please help me equip my students to be successful in these interactions with their peers and community!
