My Students

My students are creative, young citizens who are diverse in their ethnic background. They come to my classroom full of life and energy. Their homes and families are rich in culture and tradition. While my students are creative and bring so many ideas to the table, they often lack the necessary resources to provide the opportunities, tools, activities, etc., to explore their ideas. I am seeking resources to create more opportunities for them to learn and grow through the arts.

My Project

As we continue with remote learning with the potential for some in person learning, we will also continue to need art supplies and materials. As projects are simple and reviewing art elements right now, my students and I need extra supplies of paper and other basic art materials and tools. During remote learning, the majority of our projects are different drawings, and we are using quite a bit of art materials, especially paper. Students create a finished drawing every week or two, and I complete an example during each class throughout the day. Paper is definitely one of our biggest needs right now.
