This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students are very compassionate about learning. They are willing and excited to learn many subjects in their art class. Drawing is a big resource in art. My students face challenges all the time at home, and many live below the poverty level, and some live in shelters. Some parents can not afford to buy sketchbooks for their art class. Sketchbooks help the students develop their drawing skills which help them use those skills in their art projects and other projects in their classes such as applied sciences, ESL, mathematics, and engineering.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
