Help me give my students learn to bind their own sketch/watercolor books. The colored paper serves as the cover, the plastic needles and waxy thread weave in and out of the 5-hole punched papers to form a book.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my class, they will be able to walk away with a book full of their school artworks and sketches. Students can become authors and illustrators themselves. Also, it is valuable for them to learn a forgotten artistic craft. My students are the leaders of tomorrow and they deserve the best.
