Help me give my students each their own sketchbook so they have a place to record and develop ideas for the artwork they are creating.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to experience what it feels to be an artist, a maker, and a creator. They are full of dreams and ideas for themselves and want to express their uniqueness in the work they do.
All are open to new experiences and aren’t afraid to take creative risks.
The only thing that is holding them back is the lack of resources and supplies necessary to make their passions come to life.
Our school is located in the bustling city of downtown Los Angeles. We are surrounded by so much energy, culture, and languages. We are a community that fosters healthy relationships and we strive to support each other as a family would.
My Project
Sketchbooks are the place where artists get to record and develop their creative ideas. They are also a necessary organizational tool to keep track of the planning that goes into more complex projects.
My vision for students and their sketchbooks is that they use them as a visual tool to record sketches and notes throughout the school year.
The sketchbook will act as a study tool and will show the process of artistic growth.
Students will complete a new sketchbook assignment every week and they will take notes during every lesson. They will also insert important handouts into their sketchbooks so they have the content available to them.
