Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come from mostly low socioeconomic backgrounds. Some of them have very few supplies they can bring to class. The families are worried about paying their bills and providing basics at home so contributing to school supplies is not a priority.

Having binders, pencils, glue sticks, pencil pouches, and notebooks would provide my students with the tools necessary for active learning, participation, and academic success.

They would be ready for school without having to trouble their parents for supplies.

These materials would ensure that all students start off on the right foot for the school year. Students would be able to start learning right away without being concerned about not having their own school supplies.
