My students need bus transportation for 4 different days to this wonderful field trip to STARBASE Vermont. The STARBASE STEM program is free to students, but they will need bus transportation to get there.

My Students
My classes consist of sixth graders. Students switch for certain subjects such as: math, language arts, Social Studies, and science.
My favorite quote is: "Nothing is impossible if the word itself says, I'm possible." I hope for my students to realize the vast amount of opportunity, for all, that can come from STEM education.
My team includes 39 sixth grade students and two teachers.
Our school is in a lower income are. There are a lot of transient families moving in and out of the area as well.
As you know, education funds are often cut and/or reduced, making it difficult to have funds available for educational class field trips. This is why I am enlisting the help of DonersChoose.org and donors to help us.
My Project
This project is for the bus transportation for four days of field trips to STARBASE Vermont. Students who attend this program will learn about the vast amount of career opportunities in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology. They will experience hands-on innovative ways to problem solve and create.
This program provides young students with ideas about career opportunities that might not be what they see on an every day basis.
It will also provide students with learning differences a chance to have hands-on learning experiences in content areas where they may excel in more than others. They will see that science is more than just experiments, it's all around them!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
