My first-grade class is located in a rural part of the South Carolina. Seventy five percent of my students are living at or below poverty level. Many of my students have never been outside of our small community. My class works daily in small Reading and Math Groups at a table with the teacher. I serve five to six kids in a group. The children need special chairs that they can move in, rotate, and be comfortable while at my table.
New seats at the teacher table will help students to sit comfortable and enjoy coming to the table while learning in small group.
Right now our chairs are falling apart. Student deserve to have special stools to sit and learn in. Please help our class by helping us get new small group stools.
My Project
My students need new seats at the teacher small group table. These stools allow students to adjust their seat to fit correctly with good posture at the table. Students can wiggle, turn, and move around safely at the table. Students will enjoy coming and using the new chairs in small group.
Stools can be used when viewing a Virtual Reality by letting them safely turn around on the stool while they observe using Virtual reality glasses.
The stools are exciting and innovative. I want my students to have good posture and sit up straight at my table when I am teaching. These stools will help students sit correctly with them even knowing that they are sitting up straight. My students will appreciate your support to in getting new chairs for our class.
