Having round tables in my third grade classroom will foster collaboration, communication, and a stronger sense of community amongst students. Unlike traditional desks, round tables promote face-to-face interaction, making it easier for students to engage in group work, share ideas, and support each other’s learning. This layout encourages active participation and helps develop critical social and problem-solving skills. Additionally, round tables create a more inclusive and welcoming environment, reducing feelings of isolation. This grant would greatly enhance both academic achievement and classroom relationships through improved cooperative learning opportunities. Giving all students an equal learning opportunity!
