My Project
My 2nd graders are bright, energetic, and full of potential. What makes them special is their kindness, creativity, and eagerness to learn, even when faced with challenges. They come from a variety of backgrounds and thrive when they feel supported, safe, and seen.
This project will create a calm and engaging space where students can focus and grow.
A new classroom rug will create a welcoming and organized space where students feel comfortable and focused, which is essential for effective learning. It provides a designated area for group activities, storytime, and class discussions, encouraging collaboration, listening skills, and a strong sense of community. By fostering a warm and inclusive environment, the rug supports social-emotional growth and helps students build the foundational skills they need to thrive academically and personally.
My goal is to build a classroom that nurtures both academic success and emotional well-being. This resource will help every child feel ready, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.
