This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a first year teacher and being in the classrooms you often see that decorating or keeping up with “style” really impacts students learning.
I want to create a clean positive environment for my students that maybe they don’t have at home.
Having a new carpet and sitting cushions will promote students engagement in the classroom. In this case it can be an incentive for good behavior or moving their small group from the table to a wonderful new rug to complete their work. Students deserve to have a new rug to sit and lay on.
