This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students enrolled in my classroom are from different backgrounds. Some are of Mexican descent, while others are from Honduras. It's great to have diversity in the classroom. I want them to have a great year while they are in my classroom and experience what a quality classroom feels like. My carper was recently cleaned and it looks worse than before. The kiddos keep asking me, " Why is the carpet so dirty?.
The new carpet I am requesting will let them start the Day, fresh when sitting in their square, as they join me in Group Time.
I don't want them to be distracted by the stains on the carpet.
