Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a speech-language pathologist that works with students, grades k-5. Sometimes my younger students have difficulties sitting at our table while we are working. I would love a rug so that we have the option to move to the floor if needed. Also, because many of my students have difficulties attending; playdoh is a great focus tool.

The other materials I chose to add to this project allow me to focus on specific goals, such as producing verbs and prepositions, which I work on with a large number of my students.

We also work through different themes each month so having a game or book to go along with that theme makes learning in therapy more fun.
