My Project
My students would love to have a new carpet in our classroom. Right now we have an old, gross carpet. It has several stains and is no longer soft. Our class frequently comes to the carpet throughout the day for lessons and learning. My students love to play math games on the carpet area and lay down and read on the carpet during reader's workshop.
This new carpet is amazing because it is a giant map of the world with each continent labeled!
I can just hear the students now talking about different places their families are from or place they want to go one day. This carpet also looks soft and easy to keep clean. My kids are eager to have a new carpet for our classroom.
