Sit Where You Fit: The Flexible Seating Revolution

My Project

My seventh graders come from many different backgrounds and have diverse needs. Some are gifted, some have special needs; yet, all would benefit from more flexible seating options in the classroom. They sit in the same hard chairs all day and would greatly benefit from diverse seating options.

Flexible seating opens students' minds and helps them find the way they learn best.

Students deserve to learn in an inviting and engaging environment where they feel loved and safe.

Traditional seating does not currently meet the needs of today's learner. We need to meet kids where they are at and help them find their optimal learning experience.
