This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My lifeskill students love running our coffee cafe. They're on the move all day practicing valuable skills as they deliver orders from class to class and are very active. As we go through the year, we frequently need to restock our inventory and offer new items. Meanwhile, in our own classroom, we need to concentrate when learning new concepts. With this wobble stool, they'll be able to rock at their seat as they work on their classwork but still remain focused.
This wobble stool will force students to use their core muscles, relieving excess entry as the stool moves from side to side.
Having this wobble stool as an option for kids will help maintain a calm classroom. Instead of having the need to get up and walk around for movement, students can be at their seats working and still moving while exercising their core muscles. These wobble stools will help my students maintain focus and concentration on their lessons during the day!
