Our technology lab is used with Pre-K through 5th Grade Students, however our current chairs are made for older students. I have noticed my students like to have the option to stand while working on our activities and projects. When they choose to stand at the tables, the chairs get in the way.
These stacking stools allow for the flexibly for my students to sit or stand.
The stools can be slid completely under the table so there would no longer be chairs in walkways.
The colors of the stools can also aid in classroom management by coordinating colors to cooperative roles in a technology lesson (i.e. red stools = materials person, green stools = recorder/coder, yellow stools = timer, etc.) The flexibility these stools can add to my Technology Lab will make a difference for me and my students.
