My Project
In our kindergarten classroom, the rug is more than just a floor covering, it’s the heart of our learning space. Each smiley face on the rug gives every child a special place of their own, creating a sense of comfort, belonging, and structure.
This rug will provide clearly defined spaces for each student, helping them focus, feel secure, and build independence.
It’s where we gather for read-alouds, shared reading, and discussions. It’s where students stretch out for independent work, partner up for activities, and build the foundation of classroom community.
For young learners, having a consistent, welcoming space to sit and learn is essential. This rug will help create a warm, organized environment where every child knows they have a place and a smile waiting for them every day.
