This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students a big enough carpet for the classroom that can fit all my 25 students.
I am a dedicated teacher at PS 192 Manhattan , where I have the privilege of working with a wonderful group of kindergarteners students.
Every day, we come together to learn, explore, and grow as a classroom community. However, we currently lack a space in the classroom where all 25 of my students can comfortably sit for group activities, lessons, and discussions. A large classroom rug would be the perfect solution to create a cozy, collaborative learning space.
My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive in an environment where they can share ideas, collaborate with their peers, and engage in lessons that are both educational and fun. By providing a large, comfortable rug for our classroom, you will help create a warm and inviting space where all of my students can come together for reading, group work, and community-building activities.
The rug will be large enough to accommodate 25 students, giving everyone their own space to sit and participate in lessons. It will also serve as a central spot for morning meetings, storytime, and other activities that bring us together as a classroom family. By providing a comfortable place to sit, the rug will help my students stay focused and engaged during lessons.
With your support, I can create a welcoming environment that fosters collaboration and a love for learning. The new rug will not only give my students a comfortable place to sit but also help build a sense of community in our classroom. Your generous donation will directly impact my students' learning experience, providing them with a soft and inviting place to gather, share, and grow together.
