This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Mrs. Olvera and I the proud librarian at our school. We service over 470 students in a very low income area. Students look forward to visiting their school library. It is their home away from home.

I want to provide a learning environment where they can sit, think and create.

We are always using crayons to create and inspire projects and being able to get them along with flexible seating, would be amazing. My students don't like to just sit in one area, they like to travel around the library. I want to provide this beautiful seating so they can continue learning and creating.

Please help in anyway possible to make this a successful experience for my students. Thank you!
