This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing 5th grade scientists who love engaging classwork, exciting experiments, and have electric energy.
They have moved up from elementary school and lost the opportunity for recess, but that doesn't mean they are ready to be "big kids" and sit still all day.
They still have a need to move. You can tell by the way they bounce their feet or swing their legs if their chair is too tall. These tractor seats would give them a chance to twist in their seat. They also have an adjustable height that helps students sit comfortably at their table.
