My Project

For my students, I'm requesting water, juice, and Gatorade. My class consists of 25 caring, smart, and energetic first graders. I teach in a Title I school and 100% of my students receive free lunch. My students come from low socioeconomic homes, and many of my students struggle to bring water or juice to school. Despite the obstacles, my students are dealing with in Jackson, Mississippi not having clean drinking water. They come to school eager to learn, and they strive for excellence.

Dehydration can lead to difficulties in concentration, memory, and overall cognitive performance.

Having clean water, and juice will help my students stay mentally alert and focused during class. With your donation, my students will have access to water and juice which will help maintain their energy levels, preventing them from feeling sluggish.
