My students need organizational materials, including a Tabletop Teacher Organizer, a What Will We Do Today? Schedule Chart and a Turn-In-Your-Work Organizer, as well as 2 Song CDs and a Circle Time Song Posters set.
My Kindergarten students live in a high need community, and I am enthusiastically trying to have many different styles of learning resources that will meet all academic learning levels.
The obstacle our children always come across is that the funding for certain resources cannot be met. We try to improvise with the resources we have in the classroom, but unfortunately being that the students are so young, they are auditory and tactile learners.
The materials I am requesting will benefit my students by allowing them to enjoy music while singing to math and literacy. The Circle Time Recordings - CD, Song Bank Recordings - CD, What Are We Doing Today chart, Turn it into Work Organizer, are necessary for morning messages and keeping the young minds organized and enthusiastic. The resources for storing these precious materials should be accessible to our young students so they can reach them and utilize them when needed. We need to start early in a child's age, which is the foundation of becoming well educated and organized so that those habits continue throughout their academics. The resources will help them enjoy, be motivated, and become independent children so that they will progress into attentive, responsible citizens in their future.
Your support in funding this project will entice our young minds and keep them focused and interested in wanting to come to school. The resources will lead them into the correct direction of education. The arts should always be linked to their curriculum. Mathematics is a difficult concept and should never be taught to the younger learners by visuals only. Incorporating concepts along with music will always keep their interests fresh and fun.
