Singing to the Farm

Help me give my students a musical farm experience with farm puppets and loveys!

My Project

My kindergarten students all begin with a farm themed musical unit. During this unit, students explore their voice through animal sounds, explore movement through locomotor and non locomotor movements, and explore instruments through song. Each lesson focuses on a new animal, new instrument, and new movement.

These puppets and stuffed animals will create more engaging lessons giving students manipulatives to utilize to deepen understanding.

The puppets will allow students to "give" their voice to the animal, creating an environment that is welcoming for vocal exploration. The stuffed animals will used as beat buddies among other things to help students explore their own sense of beat.
