My Project
My students are young [PK-4], with brains like ‘sponges’. They soak up everything learned and ask questions when their new knowledge changes what they already know. We do not get to play in water much -as we run from hurricanes, and most little ones are afraid of thunderstorms. This project aims to demonstrate a water application: i.e., in a tub, a pool, or a city under flash flooding or emergency evacuation - what happens when a ‘body of liquid’ adds more objects. We will sing as we fill the bucket of water to see if it overflows. Rain boots will help our water endeavors.
