This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, active, and eager to learn and share their knowledge. They love reading books and using stories to inspire their writing!

Every day they come in excited to read aloud to the entire class!

They tell me that they have practiced reading aloud at home so that they can read aloud to the class. They smile when I tell them they can do it at the end of the day during our read aloud time. The idea of reading aloud to the class inspires them to practice reading at home daily. Every day I have someone different asking to be the reader for the day!

My Project

Our class needs a subscription to Flocabulary, which provides teachers with an incredible library of songs, videos and activities to helps students master vocabulary needed to understand content in language arts, math and other subjects. My students love learning vocabulary through singing and dance! They quickly pick up the information and learn the content so much easier than reading about the same material in a book.

This subscription will do just that! My class will greatly benefit from the a subscription to Flocabulary and ready to print booklets to practice what we've learned.
