I'm a music teacher at a rural elementary school in Georgetown Co., SC. While the curriculum textbooks are great, one of my finest musical resources is a quarterly magazine called Music K-8. This publication contains excellent songs appropriate for all ages in my school. I use this resource primarily for my school choir. The students are very enthusiastic about these songs, which come with accompaniment CDs, because they are upbeat and current with the musical styles of the day. (Textbooks can get outdated!) On top of great songs, CD accompaniments and student songsheets, this publication provides choreography which is also upbeat and current. It's the number one music resource in music classrooms! (It also has songs for recorders and boomwhackers!) For a nominal fee I can get all of this for an entire year. It's truly an invaluable resource. Thank you for considering funding this enriching publication.
