My Students
My students are fun, compassionate, and curious young children. When they arrive at school in the morning, they race to the schedule, excited to find out what is on the agenda for the day.
Every day is fresh, new, and exciting!
Our school is one of the most diverse in the district, and is located in a tight-knit community in the heart of San Francisco. Many of my students' cousins, parents, and even grandparents have attended our school!
The community bond shows through as students giggle, play, and learn together throughout the day.
My Project
Last year, I used HeidiSongs sight words songs with my class, and their progress was amazing! Because students are dancing and singing along, they are having fun and learning all at once! When I assessed my students' progress, I found that more of my students had mastered their sight words by the end of the year than any class I had taught in the past.
HeidiSongs helps me build time for exercise into our busy academic daily routine.
Furthermore, the songs and movements help my students learn and memorize tricky concepts such as letters, sounds, and sight words.
I want to ensure that my students stay healthy and active while keeping up with the rigorous standards of kindergarten. Thank you for your support!
