My Students

We are a school located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and are a title one school. This means that a vast majority of our student population is at an economic disadvantage. While we have a beautiful building due to the school being built only a few years ago, we have a limited amount of supplies.

Our classroom is very diverse with non-native speakers, special needs, and different races.

But we all come together to learn as a family unit!

My Project

Our classroom could use these seat sacks to help stay organized throughout the day. This year our classroom has tables and not desk so we have no where to put our books, but with seat sacks we would have a nice place to keep them.

This is also the students first year of rotating teachers which can be overwhelming; but with the help of seat sacks it will be a cinch!

When students aren't organized or searching for materials it makes transition times longer and learning time gets reduced. We need all the learning time we can get so everyone is college and career ready!
