My gifted students are always curious and want to dig deeper into our units of study. This year my fourth graders have learned about the chocolate making process and solved the mystery of who stole the chocolate recipe. We have explored engineering with various materials: LEGO sets, Snap Circuits, K'Nex, ZoobMobiles, LEGO Mindstorm Robots. They learned some life-long financial literacy skills. We are currently in our breakout/escape room unit where we tackle a new escape adventure each week. My third graders have learned all about the middle ages and are currently working on a tessellation unit.
I would love to enrich my gifted units with meaningful simulations where students get to experience a deeper understand of our units and immerse themselves into real-life scenarios.
Simulations are designed to place learners in a "world" created by the teacher to represent a reality where students can interact and make decisions. This gift card from TPT will help us add these resources to our classroom.
