This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students come in not having the most simple supplies for class. I am requesting pencils, art supplies, binders and notebooks. This will help them stay organized and have their own so they can take pride in their work.
These supplies will be used daily in the classroom.
A lot of students are living in temporary housing so providing notebooks, binders and pencils will help alleviate stress on parents to have to make the difficult choice of buying school supplies for their child or putting food on the table at hom.
