My students need 5 hands-on, reusable K'NEX pulley and levers sets to learn about simple machines.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. White's classroom raised $266
This project is fully funded
My 4th grade rural, low-income, public school class is comprised of wonderful students. They love to learn, especially when lessons are presented with hands-on, real world learning tools. I want to do the best job I can to help them succeed in school and prepare them for success in life.
I presented my students with a K'nex amusement park kit that I happened to have. They were enthusiastic about building the kit. After they built it, they were proud of their success and showed other students and teachers their motorized ferris wheel model. Then they begged for more! I researched K'nex products, and found a set that will not only be intriguing to my students, it will teach them about simple machines, too.
With sets of K'nex pulleys and levers kits for my students, they will experience simple machines hands-on and they will love every minute of it. This project will enable my students to study science, and more importantly, to engage in science. They will also develop critical thinking skills that will carry them through the rest of their school years and into adulthood.
Thank you for helping my students! Donors like you make a real difference in classrooms across America.
