Simple Machines for Preschoolers!

Help me give my students books, pulleys and block play materials to learn about and explore Simple Machines.

My Project

Young children are most curious and inquisitive. They want to know how machines work!

With these wonderful materials, my young scholars will learn how simple machines make work easier—with real-working wooden replicas!

This is a perfect addition to our Discover table! These machines incorporate handy contraptions like pulleys, wedges and screws. The children will get hands-on experience with cause and effect as they raise and lower objects on an elevator, move blocks on a conveyor belt and more. Plus, they’ll gain insight into how full-sized machines make big jobs easier.
