I have the pleasure to work with an engaged and excited group of students! My students love to work together, collaborate, write, and create. They especially love working with technology.
My students are sweet, caring, hardworking, creative, and an excitable group of 25 third grade students in sunny Los Angeles.
Over 32% of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and everyone receives free breakfast daily.
My students speak English at school, and many speak Spanish, Tagalog, or another language at home. We are a wonderful mix of cultures, and we support each other as we grow and learn.
My Project
We are an active class because I believe that students learn best when they are engaged in activities. Our chairs can make a lot of sound being moved, so I have requested some replacement seat gliders that attach to the bottom of the chairs. We have lost some of these gliders over the past few years, so having these gliders means that every chair will have 4 gliders on them, helping my students to move with ease.
Posters, vinyl banners, student work all need help with magnets to hold them up.
My cute refrigerator magnets just are not strong enough for this task. The super strong magnets I have requested will do the job!
I have also requested card stock to help me print out and laminate our new math task cards, center directions, and other important documents that we will laminate and use for years.
