This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love the unique personalities of my students. Growing up Deaf/Hard of Hearing presents its challenges. It is my goal for my students thrive and grow. I want them to feel safe and comfortable in our classroom. The bookshelf, paper organizers, and ASL books will help build this space. My students helped pick out all items on our list and are so excited for this project. The snacks will help keep my students fed and ready to learn. They never have to worry about being hungry at school or in my class.
