Sight Words, Yikes!

Help me give my students printer ink and index cards so they can learn their sight words.

My Students

This year, I have a wide range of students. Most of my students are Native American. Some are eager to learn, and others will need that extra push to succeed. The children seem to work really well together and encourage each other.

I believe that all students can and will learn.

They just need to be nurtured and encouraged to succeed. Some just need to know that they are loved and can achieve their goals as long as they don't quit and never give up.

My Project

Please help provide my students with black and colored ink to print lables for flash cards to make sight words. I will create and print labels containing the weeks sight words. Those labels will then be placed on the colored index cards and sent home with the students to practice their sight words.

Learning sight words is a key part to learning how to read.

These flash cards will help my students in the process of learning to read. Each week, I change the color of the ink so my students will remember the new sight words. I believe that students retain words better that are written in color. These items will be used for next school year.
