This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of energy and motivation. We consist of 12 students with various abilities and strengths. 3 of our students are English Language Learners, and embrace us with new knowledge of their culture. My students are not “the” best in academic areas but they all do try and give “their very best”. Each day they teach me to live in the moment and be present. Our students are empathetic to the needs of others and demonstrate teamwork everyday.

My Project

In this project I would like to get supplies to keep our classroom clean and prevent viruses . We do our best to keep our school and environment clean but we need additional supplies. Many of our students come from low income families and are not able to purchase these supplies. The coronavirus and other viruses are spreading rapidly . By having Lysol and disinfectant readily available , students can sanitize their environment in a daily basis, aside from the normal cleaning provided by the school. Students are constantly sick and having a sanitary environment will help prevent the spread of diseases .
