My Project
I'm an elementary school nurse. I have a good sized office for my students to rest when they aren't feeling well, but the only comfortable space that they have to lay is on a tiny cot that is only big enough for the younger kids. Whenever I have older kids who don't feel well, they only place for them to rest is at a table with their head down. Sometimes these kids are there for up to 2 hours while waiting for someone to pick them up. Since we as school nurses don't get much of a budget, I ask that the community pitches in to help get a small, comfortable place for the students to rest when they aren't feeling well.
