My Project

I teach Reading and English to 7th and 8th-grade students in a rural area in Oklahoma. Most of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches and come to school without the basic school supplies needed to succeed in school. My students are very bright and love to learn; they deserve so much more than I can provide for our classroom on my own. With the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising costs of everything purchased for basic needs, my students are in need of help purchasing classroom supplies to help enrich their learning. Pencils, markers, colored pencils, reward candy, etc. are things that will help my students be successful in their everyday lessons.
