Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have requested SEL materials to help our student with their social emotional learning. This is something that many Autism students struggle with. Turning the curriculum into games and books will help make it fun and interesting for our students.

Some other items we have order is food.

It is never easy to work on an empty stomach. Plus we have teenagers, they are always hungry. It also allows for small, quick breaks that keep us moving through out the day.

Last, we ordered a few supplies to keep us organized and to help make supplies, like making task cards and file folders. They help students to work independently. This is a huge thing that will allow them to get jobs in the future.
