Shrinky Dinky Doo...I Love You!

Help me give my students shrink film, ink pads, and Sharpies to create a wonderful craft project for moms and dads.

My Students

My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.

Many of my students come from middle- to low-income families.

My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.

My Project

My students love making things for the loved ones in their lives. This project will focus on gifts for their loved ones. With these supplies, my students will make a keepsake key chain, that they can give to their family members.

Shrinky Dinks are a fan favorite.

Kids love to create an image using permanent markers, then put them in the oven and watch them shrink. My students will be making these key chains using the stamp pads, shrink film and Sharpies, to create long-lasting tags and key chains that all will treasure.
