This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with limited and non-verbal autistic students. I'm requesting your help to purchase shredders for our school-wide recycling project (which includes recycling bottles and cans).
We teach our students about the importance of saving our environment.
Shredding helps with minimizing clutter in the school office, and classrooms. It also allows for secure recycling of paper waste.
Currently we have one small shredder, and the students fight over who gets to use it. With your help, we will be able to purchase multiple shredders, so more students will be able to shred.
