Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a school located in the heart of San Diego. 100% of our student population receives free lunch. My students are some of the most amazing students that you will ever meet. They are from all over the world. Many came to this country to escape hardships in their countries. My students want to learn so badly and I will stop at nothing to provide them with the best education that I possibly can.
Every donation you make to our class helps make it possible for a child to access learning in a way that they may not have gotten otherwise.

My Project
I am requesting multiple sets of postcards to share with my staff so that they can write postcards to our students.
This will give constant reminders of how special and loved our students are.
Students love receiving these postcards in the mail because they are handwritten especially for them. Parents have raved about how much it meant to their children to receive these. Some students even bring them to school to show them off. Please help me bring postcards to my school to replenish our dwindling supply. These postcards mean so much to so many. Our students and teachers will be so appreciative.
