This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are returning to school from a rough year back last year from distance learning. Many of them lost motivation and others struggled with navigating through their first year physically back in the classroom. It was a challenge for my students to stay persistent without seeing their efforts blossom into fruition.
This year, I would love to use photos and laminated work to showcase all of the brilliant work that my students produce.
Having a classroom laminator would allow me to preserve student work consistently, as our school laminator often is out of lamination or out of order.
As a math resource specialist teacher, I have access to several bulletin boards around campus. Having pictures printed would give students the pride that they deserve by seeing their work displayed. This would also encourage other students to be recognized as well!
