Showcasing Growth: Binders for Our Native Scholars
Help me give my students the gift of organization with 80 durable binders (1 for each student) for their portfolios. These will empower 80 learners to showcase their growth and achievements throughout the year.

My Project
Our 6th-grade class of 80 bright and eager Native American students needs your help to stay organized and showcase their learning journey! These durable binders will become their portfolios, a space to collect and reflect on their best work across their math journey for the next school year. By having a dedicated binder, students will develop crucial organizational skills, learn to take ownership of their learning, and proudly display their progress. This tangible collection of their achievements will boost their confidence and provide a valuable tool for student-led conferences and end-of-year reflections.
These portfolios will empower my students to become more reflective and engaged learners.
The primary goals of this project are to equip each of my 80 students with a dedicated portfolio binder, foster organizational skills, encourage self-reflection on their learning, and provide a platform to celebrate their academic growth. My students are special because they come from a rich cultural heritage and possess a unique blend of resilience and enthusiasm for learning. They are proud of their Native American identity and eager to succeed, and these binders will provide them with a tangible way to document their journey and celebrate their accomplishments.
