My students need a larger library to display all of the books that our classroom is lucky enough to have. The metal shelves and bins will allow students to have access to more books.

My Students
My second graders are an amazing group of students. They love coming to school each day. I teach at a large Title 1 elementary school where my students come from many diverse backgrounds. Although there are many differences among my students, they all share a love for learning. What makes me most proud is how well my students work together and support each other's learning.
I would describe my students as energetic, entertaining, and kind.
They are a wonderful group of kiddos to teach. My goal is for my students to always enjoy coming to school. I want my students to understand that the best way to learn is for them to be challenged.
My Project
Our class library is filled with a lot of great books. What is missing are more shelves so that the books can be more neatly displayed. Unfortunately, our classroom currently does not have many shelves. This results in a lot of books being stored away in storage tubs that are inaccessible to students.
Students need access to a variety of books in order to keep up their interest in reading.
By having more books displayed, I will be encouraging my community of readers to read even more. I can't wait to expand the library in my classroom by adding more shelves and book bins.
