This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This highly engaging and absolutely creative art project seeks to give students chalk pastels that are both hard edged and soft to create works of art. The students will be learning how to incorporate the 7 elements of art into their pieces. Students will also share a lanyard with job patrol duties to clean up the art room.
Students will explore the medium of chalk pastels to work on the elements of color, space, form, texture, value, line, and shape in their dazzling portraits and landscapes and geometric and organic shapes.
